Sunset in the Secret Garden

There’s a special little place in the front of mum and dad’s house that mum calls the secret garden. She read the book to me when I was young. We had some time before supper to take pictures as the sun was setting and figured it was the perfect place. I couldn’t resist this cute egg hatching a baby dinosaur — too whimsical!

I found this cobalt blue top and immediately thought about wearing it with my Jimmy Choo sandals. I don’t get to wear them that often and even though we weren’t going anywhere fancy I decided to go for it. I figured wearing them with distressed jeans would dress them down a little. I love mixing fancy things with distressed jeans or something really casual. It just makes them that much cooler.

Trollbeads Celebration Day!

I’m sure you have all seen my Trollbeads bracelet in many of my posts. My mum and dad got me started when they bought me a bracelet for my birthday. Since then I’ve completely filled it with beautiful, cool beads and I can’t wait to start another one. When I was asked to blog about a special Trollbeads Celebration Day I was so excited! Trollbeads is hosting their first ever Trollbeads Day event on August 1st to celebrate the stories  and meanings behind the beads, as well as personal stories consumers have created because of the beads. Are we going mum?

Trollbeads was founded in 1976 in a small jeweller’s store in Copenhagen, Denmark, and is the original bead-on-bracelet brand known for using the highest quality materials and craftsmanship. Trollbeads is part of a Danish design legacy, which is known for its simplicity, functionality and quality. The brand offers an assortment of jewelry pieces, including, beads, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings and accessories. The collection is inspired by mythology, astrology, fairytales, fauna, flora, cultural diversity and the familiar things of everyday life.

This is  my bracelet…

If you haven’t had a chance to view their collection, Friday, August 1st would be the perfect time to start! A complete description of the event is included below. You can visit their website here and their store locator here. I warn you… they’re addicting!
