Enter the romper. I found this adorable little number at the #ZaraSale. How can you go wrong for a whopping $13.00? It’s super light weight and how cute are the tassles on the sides? It’s been my go to for these scorching days. This one is sold out online but maybe you’ll get lucky and find one in the store. Also totally obsessed with these rose gold Birkenstocks. Actually, I’m pretty much obsessed with everything rose gold. The soft footbed keeps your feet cool and comfortable too!

Shorts or Pants?

I believe I’ve mentioned previously that I’m really not a shorts person. I own a couple pair but hardly ever wear them. It’s so hot here though! When I found these…. ports (can’t decide if they’re pants or shorts) I was in love. Shorts with an eyelet overlay to turn them into pants. Perfection! They’re even breezier than a skirt and you can’t really tell that I have absolutely no tan whatsoever. I wore shorts the other night and was ridiculed by my nephew for my ghostly gams. Geez! Working girl problems!

A Different Flow

Love. This. Trend. Flowy pants rock. It feels so fresh to wear something other than my skinny jeans. Not giving them up, but a break is nice and they’re much more light and airy in this awful northeast heat and humidity. The rope belt actually came with the pants. I usually get rid of belts that are attached at purchase because for the most part they’re cheesy, but go Zara ’cause this one’s adorable! Confession… I have to wear heels, platforms, flatforms or something so that I don’t trip on the pants! The high waist is also the only way you’ll ever see me in a crop top. I’m not one to walk around with my midriff saying hello to the world. I admit that it took me a while to embrace the crop. I was having such a hard time with the concept. I’m the flowy top girl. The fact that this one wasn’t too fitted was the selling point and the lace pattern made for a fun mix with those adorable little polka dots. Say hi to Lubi! Enjoy!

White No More

The summer has come to an end my friends. At least according to the calendar… someone should inform the weather. It’s hot! It’s actually hotter now that it was all summer. I’m so excited for fall fashion. Could we cool it off a little please? This outfit was my celebratory last white gauzy top, white sandals and white watch day. I know that these days they say it’s ok to ignore the rules and wear your white jeans and such after Labour Day, but I can’t do it. My mother appears like a little devil over my head asking “Are you wearing white pants after Labour Day?” I guess I’ll find other ways to be a fashion rebel! On another note … Have you seen the new Prada Eyewear collection? Amazing!!!!!
