As of late I have become quite the sneaker girl. Love that the sporty trend is in because it is oh so comfortable! Truly Madly Deeply

This shirt has been haunting me at Urban Outfitters for weeks. Want, want, want. Should I spend that much on a tee shirt? No — I should wait for it to go on sale. I so didn’t. That’s the advantage of having birthday money — you can spend it on fun items just because! I’m not sure what grabbed here but it was love at first sight. It just looked so cool hanging there. Notice I had to tie knots in the bottom because I’m so short! Apparently the woman behind me in line at TJ Maxx wasn’t so enamoured of said shirt when I was wearing it a few days later. She actually almost yelled at me! She exclaimed, “What the hell are you wearing? That’s no way for a young lady to go out in public! You can’t do any better?” I just giggled.

I’m Blue

Not really, but my outfit is. Most people have casual Friday. I have casual Sunday. I just wasn’t in the mood to get dressed up for work. Sundays are super busy and hectic. Everyone feels the need to buy glasses on Sunday. Not entirely sure why. Whatevs! The wedge sneaker trend has allowed me to feel somewhat comfortable wearing tennis shoes at work. With my joint pain of late, it has also allowed me to be comfortable. Huge! I’ve noticed recently that your local Neiman Marcus has quite a few items that aren’t on the website so excuse the lack of links. People are always surprised that I shop there. Don’t be scared of it. When they have 65% off it’s actually quite normal and you can score some really great stuff!

La Vie En Gris

I’m loving grey and I’m totally into the plaid trend. This tank is another find from the Nordstrom Savvy Department. I think I have an addiction. Is there a Savvyholics Anonymous group? I like that this wasn’t just a plain tank. The detail and stitching around the neckline is really nice. I’ve always been hot (temperature wise, haha), but one of the side effects of the medication that my oncologist prescribed is that it makes you hot. Great. Now I’m boiling all the time. This requires serious layering that’s easily removable. Even on a chilly fall day I’m outside in a tank top. The fact that everything sleeveless and short sleeved is on sale at the moment really works to my advantage! To make matters worse, or better, Neiman Marcus is also having their 60% off sale; hence the new jeans. Here I am in another casual weekend daytime outfit. At least during the day I can still get my sunglass fix. These are Oakley. I don’t think a lot of people realize how cool the Oakley women’s collection is. They have great colours and they’re super light weight and comfortable. Oh and yes, even I own sneakers!
