One of my favourite trends this fall is leather accents. I love leather anything so having it randomly placed on a top is just perfect! I unexpectedly, and quite happily, received a $50 Neiman Marcus coupon in the mail last week. Who am I to pass up a Neiman Marcus discount? I found so many things in their Cusp department that I could have splurged on, but this silver top with the leather sleeves was just too amazing to leave in the store so it got to come home with me and go out for dinner. After two breast cancer surgeries, being left with one temporary implant and one prosthesis for the next few months I have a lot of undergarment challenges. They are generally far from cute or sexy. My amazing top is sheer so it requires a tank underneath. This one has a built in Genie Bra. Though not marketed as such, if you remove the padding you can slip a prosthesis into it. You can’t even tell right? Shhhh!!!
I played up the top with blacks and greys and silver jewellery throughout. These grey boots are Prada from last winter. They remain a favourite. The wedge gives you some height, but walking is still possible and the fold over style and buckles add interest.
