Happy Blogiversary!

One year ago today I did my first WordPress blog post! I wasn’t sure what would come of all this, but if nothing else, it’s something I really enjoy and hope you do too. I want to thank all of you for reading and hanging out with me and my outfits. I’ve learned so much from reading other fabulous blogs and think I’ve grown as a blogger. I’ve made blogger friends from all across the world, even if I haven’t actually met them, though I hope to one day. This year has presented me with quite a few challenges, but here I am blogging away! Thank you all!

Here’s that very first post. Enjoy!

Dressed for a special dinner in honour of anniversaries in a nice restaurant located in an old Victorian house at the shore. Black Helmut Lang jeans, black and Parker sleeveless, open back top — both from Neiman Marcus. My jacket is from J Crew a while ago. See by Chloe sandals and Marc by Marc Jacobs bag both from Bloomingdales. Cheers!

Spikes, Skulls and Puppies!

Spikes, Skulls and Puppies!

So this was the first Halloween that actually happened in the North East in 3 years. While it was blustery and a little rainy, compared to last year’s aftermath of Hurricane Sandy it was a beautiful day! Generally I’m not a fan of Halloween, but who can resist dressing up two cute little dogs? I went with “normal” clothes but wore some happy, colourful skulls in honour of the day. I played up my look with some edgy spiky and skull jewellery and spiky boots and kept most of my theme black. My chihuahua Lubi went with a little devil costume, (some mights say this is fitting) and his visiting friend Milo the poodle decided to be a spider. So cute!

Le Rendez-Vous

Ah. French food. What could be better? We went to a great, tiny little French Bistro in a nearby local town for supper. The chef/owner is actually French and the food is both authentic and delicious! I wish I was really a French girl. That effortless feminine style and knack for always being perfectly put together. Not sure if I always accomplish just that, but it’s the thought that counts!

Cobalt is Cool

Cobalt is Cool

What a crazy week it’s been! So sorry I haven’t had a chance to post. I’ve been thinking about it for days and haven’t had a spare second to sit down at the computer. I wore this casual chic outfit to supper over the weekend. I’m in love with studs, which you’ve probably realized and I so love cobalt. It’s bright without being obnoxious and overpowering. In addition to the stud detail around the neckline of this top the back of it is really neat. These sunglasses could not go more perfectly. The cobalt blue sparkles with the gold temples are fabulous. Loving the entire Miu Miu glasses collection right now! I’m also totally excited to see what Mr. Camuto comes out with for boots because the sandals for this season were so awesome!
