Obsessed with this maxi-tee. The see-through lace is summery and pretty while the length and cutouts add edginess. I have also worn it with a white tank underneath, but I thought that for an evening look I would wear a black tank to really accent the amazing detailing of the shirt. I wore black destroyed skinny jeans under though I can also see this really working over a pair of cutoff shorts or even as a fancy bathing suit coverup. I’m really not much of a shorts person; especially not out to supper. Oh…have I mentioned that flatforms are the best thing ever? Height without pain equals genius!

Leather & Lace

OK. They’re suede but Suede and Lace didn’t have as nice a ring to it. Close enough! We ventured into New York City for our anniversary on Saturday night. I was hoping to be able to take more pictures when we got there but traffic didn’t allow us to do that. By the time we got into the City we were just in time for our reservation and it was dark. Oh well. I wanted something pretty but not fussy. Have you noticed I’m not much of a dress girl? I got this amazing Free People lace tunic and wore it over my Rag & Bone suede pants. I love how the sleeves gently cascade over my hands. A plus to having short arms? How could I pass up an opportunity to wear the Louboutin? They go with everything!

Mad at Spring

We all know that spring isn’t exactly my favourite time of year. Despite it’s airy, lacy qualities I felt like I was giving spring the middle finger with my dark grey and black attire. Love Free People camis that can be worn under things or on their own. So versatile for different occasions and seasons. Though I almost bought dusty pink jeans to go with the top — nope. True Northeaster. Black, black, black. And I must have switched from open toe to closed toe shoes 100 times. The weather was unseasonably warm, but I didn’t feel ready for my toes to greet the world quite yet. Truth? I switched to cutout booties before I left the house. Couldn’t do it.
