If you’re gonna do it, do it. These pants are definitely extreme and I adore them. It’s like wearing pyjamas and they’re perfect for a hot day because they don’t cling and have plenty of room for air circulation! I’m not usually a “red” girl but that very well may change based on my love for these pants. Since the bottom half of my outfit was such a statement I paired it with a very simple top and did the famous half tuck so that I didn’t look like a balloon. I also chose jewellery and sunglasses that complemented the boho vibe. Even my hair was in the mood. Hope you love these pants as much as I do!

Mad at Spring

We all know that spring isn’t exactly my favourite time of year. Despite it’s airy, lacy qualities I felt like I was giving spring the middle finger with my dark grey and black attire. Love Free People camis that can be worn under things or on their own. So versatile for different occasions and seasons. Though I almost bought dusty pink jeans to go with the top — nope. True Northeaster. Black, black, black. And I must have switched from open toe to closed toe shoes 100 times. The weather was unseasonably warm, but I didn’t feel ready for my toes to greet the world quite yet. Truth? I switched to cutout booties before I left the house. Couldn’t do it.

Fringe Benefits

Fringes are huge right now in the trend department. Were they ever out? Boho essential no? I love to spin around and watch them fly around. So silly. Like they weren’t enough fun on their own I wore the cardigan over this super fun Free People slip dress styled as a top over pants. There’s so much going on in this outfit! The florals, lace, fringes… Too much? Nah. Why? Because the consistent colour pallet gives it balance and softness.

I think this outfit encompassed many blogger biggies. Feeling trendy today I guess! Mules (so can’t believe these are back, but they’re so comfy so I’m cool with it), boyfriend jeans, etc. It is so unbelievably hot and humid in New Jersey. Walking outside is like being in a sauna. I’m so ready for a cool, crisp fall day. I couldn’t possibly deal with an article of clothing that contained sleeves so I wore this awesome Free People camisole which is pretty much as close as you can get to being naked in public. I opted for my gap boyfriend jeans because the looser fit makes them more airy than skinny jeans that just pretty much adhere to you in temperatures like this. Let’s discuss the wide cuff — wide straps on the shoes = wide cuff, narrow straps = narrow cuff. Get it? It’s all about proportions. Funny thing is, my brother can’t stand, goes ballistic even, when he sees that wide cuff. I’m not sure why it annoys him so much, but he freaks! Sorry dude!
