Remember the Puffy Shirt episode? Of course you do! With statement sleeves and ruffles being all the rage it pops into my head all too often. Hope I pulled it off better than Seinfeld!

I found this blouse on super sale at Anthropologie last week. It’s so airy that even inside for dinner I wasn’t crazy hot. Phew. I usually am. I briefly toyed with the idea of not wearing a tank top underneath. Think I could pull it off? I’m a wimp sometimes when it comes to showing too much skin. Not sure why. Pairing something so feminine and flirty with ripped up jeans is so much fun. There’s something about that combo that has always appealed to me. I’m not into fussy prim and proper. I like a little edginess to my outfits. BTW… you’ll be seeing these shoes a lot. They’re trendy and pretty and so comfortable! Oh… we just planted our garden. Nice huh?

Not gonna lie. I love a chilly spring day especially after the rest of the week was in the 90s. Yucky. Love the prospect of wearing a chunky spring sweater and an awesome pair of jeans and I’m embracing it fully while I still can without melting. I managed to incorporate a few trends into this outfit without it looking like I was trying too hard. Never look like you’re trying too hard! I half-tucked my chunky sweater with cool sleeves into my moto jeans to show off the zipper details. Check out the ripped knee and distressed bottoms. Cool right? If you’re looking for the most comfortable jeans ever give DL1961 a shot. I swear they’re as comfortable as leggings! Last but not least — mules. Any shoe you can remove in a matter of seconds is a winner in my book! I own these in 3 colours! Shhhhhh! Oh! Don’t forget to accessorize girlies! Jewellery and sunglasses make an outfit!
