I Still Got It!

My niece planned our family day starting with a trip to the rink. She knew her aunt could skate as a kid. I’m not even going to tell you how many years it’s been since I put on a pair of skates. The ones I’m wearing? They’re my custom skates from when I was a kid! Much to my surprise I can still do it! I was actually quite good back in the day and took lessons and did shows. After all, I grew up in Canada so we had a lot of ice! I was shaky at first but it all came back. I even did a little jump! Après skate was brunch, books, hover boarding and a chihuahua in a euphonium!

My 100th Post and My Mummy

I arrive at mum and dad’s for supper and, much to my dismay, my mum and I were wearing the same top! While I didn’t necessarily consider my overall look “blog worthy” it was just too funny not to take some pictures. Now I get to celebrate my 100th post with my mum who does read my blog faithfully (and corrects my grammar I might add).

So, the top… apparently we both, separately, saw this Free People top on sale at Bloomingdales and thought it was adorable. At least we bought different colours! We actually had both paired it with dark skinny jeans and similar jewellery too. Had I known we were going to take pictures I would have stepped up my footwear choice a little, but oh well! Here we are!

Mini Me

Friday my niece graduated from preschool. We call her “mini me”. She kinda looks like me and she loves fashion! When my dad asked me if I wanted him to take my pictures for the day she asked if he could take pictures of both of us. Of course! It was a kind of cool day for this late in the season, and once again it called for rain, so I threw a blazer on over my outfit.
