Anyone noticed how much I love kimonos? Or anything BOHO chic? When One Tribe Apparel sent me this kimono I was psyched! First of all, their story is great. Second of all — kimono! They also donate part of their proceeds to help the Elephant Nature Park. How cool is that? Besides all the above, the kimono is so pretty. The vibrant colours and peacock pattern on mine even dressed up jeans enough for me to wear them to work! I love peacocks! I would wear this over a bathing suit or to give a pop to a simple tee or slip dress too. I’m tellin’ ya, these things come in handy. Puffy Shirt

Remember the Puffy Shirt episode? Of course you do! With statement sleeves and ruffles being all the rage it pops into my head all too often. Hope I pulled it off better than Seinfeld!

I found this blouse on super sale at Anthropologie last week. It’s so airy that even inside for dinner I wasn’t crazy hot. Phew. I usually am. I briefly toyed with the idea of not wearing a tank top underneath. Think I could pull it off? I’m a wimp sometimes when it comes to showing too much skin. Not sure why. Pairing something so feminine and flirty with ripped up jeans is so much fun. There’s something about that combo that has always appealed to me. I’m not into fussy prim and proper. I like a little edginess to my outfits. BTW… you’ll be seeing these shoes a lot. They’re trendy and pretty and so comfortable! Oh… we just planted our garden. Nice huh?

I guess I just haven’t been in the mood lately. Haven’t been able to motivate myself. Sometimes it’s just too much pressure to get up every day and be “blogworthy”. It’s hard feeling like you can never repeat an outfit or feeling like you have to look great every single day. Of course you have to get up and put on something but sometimes you just look in the mirror and don’t feel it. Hence, #bloggerburnout. Alas, I miss all of you and I miss posting my outfits. It took a hiatus to realise this! Therefore I will be back at you with outfits galore. I hope! Since spring hasn’t actually sprung here in the northeast this outfit embraces some springier items while still being 50 degree farenheit temperature appropriate. Over-the-knee boots can still be springy if they’re the right material and colour and are worn with maybe something floral or light. First time embracing the “cold shoulder” look. You like?
