It’s been a while. How are you? Life’s been a little crazy to say the least, but here I am. Back with an outfit. It’s been driving me nuts that I haven’t had a chance to blog. Not to mention the early darkness that makes getting home in time for pictures not so easy! Anyway, enough blither. Enjoy my black outfit that I wore out for one of my birthday dinners. People think that all black can be boring but I think not. Mixing textures and hues adds interest and you can’t go wrong for a night out in the sultry shade.
Check out my makeup too. My eyes are courtesy of e.l.f Cosmetics as part of their #elfbeautysquad for their #playbeautifully campaign. I’ve seen e.l.f in the store before but had never indulged. I have to say I’m loving the Everyday Smoky Eyeshadow Palette and the Illuminating Palette is amazing!
Happy Halloween! So not my thing! That said, my husband and I attended a benefit this past weekend and had to come up with something! I was going for hipster but I’m honestly not sure if it came out as hipster, or grunge or something combined. My husband has been told that he could be any of the characters on The Big Bang Theory so he went for Leonard Hofstadter. I think he was spot on!
That “blogworthy” word came up when we were going out to take pictures today. My favourite stylist at the Free People store liked it and told me to definitely blog this one so here it is! The tank is, of course, Free People and the jeans are old distressed boyfriend jeans that seemed to stand the test of time. So simple yet put together. Pairings can turn jeans and a tank into an outfit. The fancy racerback bralette that shows in the back, a belt, animal print Betula sandals and jewellery which is always key to adding interest to simplicity.
