So it appears that I’ve been in a little bit of a blogging slump lately. Part of that I can blame on my most recent surgery, but not all of it. For those of you who don’t know, I’ve been undergoing surgery for breast cancer and reconstruction for more than a year now. I’m happy to say that I’m healthy and my surgeries are finally coming to an end. On with life.
As for the rest of the slump… not sure quite honestly. Maybe I just got discouraged and felt like I wasn’t making a difference or being noticed by the blogging world to the degree that I would ultimately like. How do some of these bloggers get so much attention? Maybe I wasn’t feeling “blogworthy” — a word that my husband made up to describe my outfit’s potential to go public. Maybe I didn’t think anyone cared about my outfits or my style advice. Or, maybe after undergoing six surgeries I was just too damn tired to get dressed, smile (or at least pose) for pictures and write about it. It could have been any of those really. Have any of you bloggers experienced this?
Anyhow, here I am, back at it and ready to bombard the world with my #OOTDs. New design and all. I realized that I enjoy it which is why I started doing this in the first place. I love fashion and I love sharing my ideas and personal style. Thank you all for following me and allowing me to temporarily slump!

Love your blog! Don’t give up. I get discouraged that my art isn’t a bigger thing in the art world yet too. Just have to keep doing it for the love of it.
