Summer Black #OOTD

Really, it’s OK to wear black in the summer. It may not be the brightest (literally and figuratively) choice on a scorching hot day, but for a night out when it’s not too balmy, why not? Black is always chic and black and gold, even better. You know I’m a fan. I couldn’t resist this top when I saw it at Nordstrom on sale in the Savvy Department. Black, shiny, fringes — a perfect trifecta? Those fringes make it not seem cropped too. Yeah! Of course I picked shiny black and gold accessories and my favourite Italia Independent sunglasses. They were the first ones I got from that company and I still absolutely love them! They’re actually flocked velvet and they’re so light and comfortable that you don’t even know they’re on your face! Do you still wear black in the summer?
