My outfit was inspired by these amazing baby blue ankle boots I found at DSW. The colour screamed “boots you can wear in spring!” They’re Crown Vintage which is a brand exclusive to DSW, as far as I can tell, and I’ve found it to be both very comfortable and well made. The tank I got last year right before my surgery. I didn’t realize at the time that my post mastectomy self would not lend well to tank tops. I held it up next to my new boots and voila — a match made in heaven. The weather was incredibly blustery so layering was essential. Jean jackets seem to have made their way back into the fashion world as of late and this one is actually kind of special. It’s an old Levi’s jacket that was my brother’s in high school. I stole it and kept it. Sorry dude! There’s even a little “signature” rip by the cuff that always told us it was ours.
